Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Audena collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. Written in plain English, if anything's unclear, email legal@audena.io.

Short version: we collect only what we need to run the service, we don't sell your data, we don't use your customers' conversations to train third-party models, and you can request access, correction, or deletion any time.

01

Who we are

Audena is a voice-agent platform. This policy applies to audena.io, the Audena dashboard, and the calls our agents place or receive on your behalf. "We" means Audena; "you" means the business using the service; "your customers" means the people our agents call or speak with.

02

What we collect

Account data: name, work email, company, role, billing details. Configuration data: the agents, scripts, and workflows you build. Contact lists: phone numbers and metadata you upload to run campaigns. Call data: audio, transcripts, outcomes, and timestamps of calls our agents handle. Product usage: logs, device and browser info, and diagnostic events needed to keep the service running.

03

Why we collect it

To operate the service you signed up for, to bill you, to keep the platform secure, to fix bugs, and to improve reliability. We use call data to deliver outcomes back to you (transcripts, summaries, hand-offs) and to monitor agent quality. That's it.

04

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't rent it. We don't share your customers' conversations with advertisers. We don't use your data, or your customers' conversations, to train foundation models for anyone else.

05

Call recordings and transcripts

Where required by law, Audena discloses that calls may be recorded at the start of a conversation. You're responsible for confirming that your use case complies with local recording and consent laws (two-party consent states, GDPR lawful basis, MENA equivalents). Recordings and transcripts are stored encrypted and retained per your plan's retention setting.

06

Sub-processors

We use a short list of vetted vendors for hosting, telephony, speech models, and payment processing. Each one is bound by a data-processing agreement no weaker than the one you have with us. A current sub-processor list is available on request at legal@audena.io.

07

Where data lives

Data is stored in secure cloud regions selected to match your compliance needs: EU, US, or MENA. Enterprise customers can request region pinning as part of their contract. Transfers between regions use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

08

Security

Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Role-based access controls, SSO and MFA available on business plans, audit logs on enterprise. We run regular penetration tests and review access quarterly. Report a suspected issue to security@audena.io.

09

Retention

Account and configuration data is kept while your workspace is active. Call recordings and transcripts follow the retention window on your plan (default 90 days, configurable). Backups are rotated on a rolling schedule. When you close your workspace, we delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except where law requires us to keep records longer (e.g. tax, fraud).

10

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time, most of it directly from the dashboard, the rest by emailing legal@audena.io. Your customers can also submit requests about their own data; forward them to us and we'll help you honour them within the timeframes required by GDPR, CCPA, and local equivalents.

11

Cookies and analytics

We use a small set of first-party cookies to keep you logged in and to remember preferences, plus privacy-respecting product analytics on the dashboard. No third-party ad tracking on audena.io. You can opt out of non-essential analytics from the cookie banner or your browser settings.

12

Contact and changes

Questions, complaints, or data requests: legal@audena.io. We'll email you 30 days before any material change to this policy. Continued use after that counts as acceptance.
